Long Run | 12 Miles | Central Park
Fail. I ended up cutting the run short after one lap of the Park (6 miles). I was pretty smoked from Friday's pace work and Saturday's 9 miler, and my left foot started to feel the high mileage. I've had plantar fasciitis in that foot before so my main concern is staying injury free. I'm only 15 days into this training program after having taken almost two and a half months off from any athletic activity. It's key that I don't increase my weekly mileage too quickly or I risk not being able to run for the next six to nine months if the plantar fasciitis flairs up again.
Pace: Easy
